Symphyllia Wellsoni

I can't seem to find any good wilsoni's, you got yourself a gem.

Thank you...keep an eye out you will find a good one, just make sure it is the right size for your tank, cause it will need a special spot.
If want to find some good ones go to liveaquaria.com. Awesome ones on there. williwilliwilsoni.jpg

What a beauty. I have one that was completely blue grey when I got it. After about 5 months of acclimation and feeding with Fauna Marin LPS here's what it looks like now. Definitely one of my favs.

Wow that looks amazing...did you grow it from a frag? Any pics from when you first got it? Also Any tips on keeping them long term, placement, water temp (I have heard they like colder water), flow, what do you feed and how often, direct light or indirect...and how sensitive are they to swings...I have tried to keep them in the past with low success...thanks!

It was a small colony when I got it. I wish I had pics of it when I first got it. I didn't expect such a transformation. Mine is in the sand bed and gets full light. In fact when I was tweaking my LEDs and accidentally bleached a few LPS this one did fine. Tank temp is 78 all year and low flow. I used to feed Fauna Marin LPS which I think is the best still. Had to switch because my Macilliceps tang loves the stuff so much it will nip at every coral that was fed to get them to spit it out. Now they get either rods coral formula or Roggers coral blend. I feed twice a week. Not too many parameter swings in Mg, Ca or Alk, but it has tolerated nitrate up to 50 and phosphates of .3.

Thanks for all the info...post some more pics if you have some...

Well I got mine in and it looks awesome but my stupid Copperbend butterfly loves to pick at it so I have to figure something out.... It's strange because I have a ton of LPS in my tank and he doesn't pick at a single thing except for this...
My computer is broken right now so I can only take iPhone pictures...
