Syncing mp10wQD with mp40wES

Is it possible to sync a mp10wQD with a mp40wES?

I don't see why not. The controllers are the same, it's the wet and dry side pump that are different.

I think the qd drivers are different from the es drivers... It's supposed to have some technology to make the pumps quieter.

Got a response from ecotech saying it is possible.

You can't sync them, both most have the same driver. I've tried, eventually I had to upgrade one of the driver to QD. But, the wireless card on both is the same.

They probably meant, if you upgrade to QD. wES/wQD won't sync but they will sync for feed mode. Either way, I didn't find a real benefit to syncing a mp10 to mp40, as I run my mp10 at 100% and mp40 at 40%. Syncing them resulted in too much flow or not enough.

Maybe... I'll find out soon enough I guess. I already ordered the mp10 to try to sync with my mp40.

I was actually going to put the two pumps opposite each other and run anti-sync in reefcrest mode. Anyway we'll see what happens.

I've got a MP40wQD and a MP40wES synced up together with no problems. Even before I got my WXM. Now they are even anti- synced together running through my Apex.
