Sorry, I didn't see a need to PM, the issue was resolved from the place I purchased it from.
My order number from BRS is #1100373885, order was placed on December 16th, 2015.
The replacement order was order #100378049, and it was shipped out to me on February 12, 2016.
I bet if I dig hard enough in the garage I can find the tube of epoxy you mailed out.
I will reach out to Meridith from BRS on Monday to get the email transcripts. I think BRS even attempted to reach out for resulting because they should not have been responsible for replacing that.
At the end of the day it was resolved, the product works well. I suggest we end it here.

Ok, I know who you are now. Yes at YOUR request we shipped you some weldon. We offered a replacement and you said NO. You had a small leak in the front overflow box, the part that inside the tank, not the rear box. You contacted us 2 months after purchase (February 2, 2016)and we still called you and went above and beyond to help you. again if you feel that we did the wrong thing I apologize. No need to make it sound like we did not offer to help.

I was commenting based on his post assuming it was true. If it turns out to be false then I will for sure withdraw my comments as well.

I assure you, I would not request weld on, I know nothing about acrylic what so ever.
If BRS replaced, why would I tell you that I didn't want a replacement, that makes no sense.

But our vendor did replace your overflow correct? That is why we use BRS exclusively to sell our products. There customer service is what we would expect. Again we were here to help and stand behind all of our products 100%.
And I will politely say that we did offer you a replacement over the phone as well.
You also contacted us for a custom sump quote and asked this question "Hopefully the drawing is helpful. I drew it with all 3/8 material as I was potentially going to build it myself." so I think you knew what weldon was. You specifically asked if you could fix the overflow yourself. I do not want to argue and this is why I would have prefered a PM. I have all the emails between us if you would like to PM me and discuss.

I did a lot of research and Internet surfing looking for a sump that had all the bells and whistles, and that would suit the needs for my frag system build. After several months of searching I decided on the Synergy Reef System Sump. There Customer Service is also one of the best in the business.

I know this is an old thread, but.... I am looking at a sump right now, the build will be for an approx ~180 gallon reef tank. I'm really struggling with which sump to get or build my own. Certainly Synergy reef and Tideline are in the mix, but so are a couple others. The price point seems to jump quite a bit when going over 36! I know for sure I want the sump to be quiet so if I went with tideline I would definitely have to modify the sock area. My questions are: Other than the noise, are the tidelines pretty good? I wonder if I could just contact Trigger and have it fixed by them? Are the Synergy sumps all made to order? Firm on price?

Building your own is always a good option if you have the capability, time and materials. If you do decide to go with a commercially built option definitely do your homework as all sumps are not created equally. Not only that customer service is not created equally, we far exceed anyone else in the industry. As far as our sumps they are all built to order because we do offer over 72 different configurations. We also allow for some customization within limits. Each sump is actually built for you, not to just sit on a shelf somewhere waiting to be sold. Our sumps are designed and hand built by myself, a hobbyist of over 25 years. Most other manufactures have employees that you will never speak to that build their items. While this may be perfectly fine for most people, our customers like what we provide as a company. When you ask about pricing, our sumps are priced very competitively for what you are actually getting. You cannot look at price alone as most companies like to play games with naming their sumps to seem like they same as ours, but cheaper. Our customer know the difference. For example our CL44 and TS44 are not the same as a Trigger 44 in size. So it looks like ours are more expensive. Our 44 models are 44" x 18" x 18" where as Triggers are only 44 x 16 x 15. This is why their's is priced lower than ours. Also since ours is larger it goes into an oversize shipping class for shipping carriers, which does make shipping costs go up dramatically. But we decided to say with our larger size to keep true to the needs of the hobbyist and not focus on pushing tons of sumps cheaply. Again we only build what we feel fellow hobbyists need. I attached a photo of the difference between a sump that has a 18 x 18 size and a 16 x 15 size so you can visually see the difference.
You can try and contact the other manufactures but most will ignore you. We answer every customer email we receive daily. Again this is the customer service aspect most lack. Imaging if you receive a product and you have an issue you need resolved.......
