Trying to finalize plans for a new build. 72x30x25 initially I wanted coast to coast external then I considered a canopy that could be lifted with linear actuators. In order to achieve this there are minimum of 3 uprights attached to the back of the stand. CtoC wouldn't work. Anyone have feedback on the V3?
Appreciate any insight.

Be well and happy reefing

don't have experience with this overflow, but i don't see how choosing this one would affect your end goal

Is there a reason why a built in partial external c2c overflow wouldnt work but the synergy would?
A custom builder can be fairly acommodating most of the time and that way you don't have to worry about leaks between the box and tank.
Assuming it really isn't an option, modular marine gets my vote though.

I would never touch another Synergy overflow. Pure trash. Loud, impossible to dial in, horrible design. I’d go full internal box again before I’d use Synergy

The coast to coast or partial C2C is 6" wide and my concern was supporting the pipe. How did you secure them so there is not drag on the fittings?

The drag in theory on the back pane will be greater on the tank with an add on overflow like that since its being supported by 2-3 bulkheads vs silicone on a larger surface area.
I supported the pipes with surface mounting clamps adhered to the back of the stand + inside the stand (latter can't be done for a basement but there are great alternatives)

Samples that I could find from some of my tanks (made me realise that I someday need to organize my photos and call upon the lord and savior zip ties)
