Synthetic Sea Salt Storage Question

I wanted to know from someone who either knows from experience or from a credible source if pre mixed salt exposed to high or low temperature can change the composition of the mixture.

I've read online that it should be stored in a cool-warm place, but I don't see any explanation behind it.

My father-in-law gave me his 5 gallon bucket of Tropic Marin salt, but it sat in his garage all summer. Can anyone help?

Mix it up and test the major 3 perams? If they are good I would use it.

If it was kept with the lid on and not exposed to moisture i would think it should be fine.

Did you mix up any and test it? What's the alk cal and mag?

It should be fine if it was stored in an air-tight container.

If its not one big chunk of salt,It should be fine.
