T-5 bulb broken and fell into tank

Just wanted to see if anyone had this happen to them before. I have a retro T-5 kit on my cube along with MH. I accidently spilled fish food on the T-5 bulb, it went out and then I decided to mess with it instead on leaving it along and fix it while the canopy was off. Long story, bulb got broken and fell into tank. I saw a little bit of powder released into the tank from the bulb. This happened last night @ 6pm and so far this am I have great PE and fish seem to be fine.
I had just changed my GFO and Carbon, so I cranked up the flow a little and added a filter sock and replaced it several hours later with another one.
Tank has been dialed in and just curious if anyone had this happen to them and if so did they have any delayed issues. Gonna changed some water this am, but as stated tank looks like it never happened this morning.. Wow what a dumb move on my part after almost 20 years in the hobby...

I have never had that happen, but it sounds like you have prepared the tank as best as you can. Way to stay on top of it. Phosphorous is probably what the powder was that fell into the tank. Did you manage to get some of the glass out as well?

I've broken bulbs into tanks at work. MH, PC, T5, UV you name it i've broken it and it has fallen in. Where else would it go?
I believe you have taken all the steps to ensure success. Now all you can do it wait and watch.

Yes, only a few pieces fell in the tank. When I pulled the part of the bulb that was not broken out the water it had water in it that was cloudy with the Phosphorus powder.
Again, wow what a brain fart... Hopefully the Phosphorus powder is not poisonous, not sure if bulb maker possibly had this in mine when making fish tank bulbs or if that is even a possibility to do anything to the powder to make it harmless.
