Do you think that there Is that much difference In T-5 bulbs? Why are Ati, Giesemann better than say aquatic life bulbs? Besides color preferences do they grow corals better? What are your thoughts?

They are definitely better in my experience with them.. You have a quality manufacturer in giesemann and ATI bulbs with a lot of R&D over the years for the growth of coral.. Some of the others only offer daylight Actinic equivalents..

There's also the longevity factor I had the same thoughts about wave point bulbs that visually looked close to some of the ATI competitors colors but did not perform at all and had serious par drop in the first 6 months..

I'm really a fan now of the new giesemann line up there Actinic blue is like the blue + but with less green.. Seems to have some better pop on corals imo.. The new aqua blue Azure is a great all white bulb also imo, doesn't add any other blue or green and is just white to me..

ATI, great bulbs, great colors selection, great prices and carried by many vendors!!

Geismann are good from what I hear as well, but never tried them

I use both Geisemann and ATI bulbs in my Dimmable 8 lamp ATI fixture. Lamps last longer, much more variety than other companies. ATI fixtures are amazing as well. I have no experience with Geisemann fixtures, but would expect great quality just like the lamps.

Ati- Best T5 bulbs made imo... if you have doubts just go check out the spectrum on some of the bluer bulbs, coral plus, blue plus, ect they aren't just actinic bulbs there almost full spectrum.
With Ati bulbs you can achieve the best of both worlds with great growth and color.
Then again I ditched my T5 fixture for led's long ago. If your thinking about bulb replacement maybe it's time to [emoji189] led's[emoji6] just a thought.
