so my tank just finished its cycle 2 weeks ago and ist time for me to buy my light am going with t-5 and the tank will have only lps so my qustion is what tek t-5 set up 4 bulb or 6 bulb and what bulb combination is good for lps???

I have a ATI t5 that I'm using over my 75 gallon. It's a 4bulb and will grow anything you want. What size is your tank? My light is 36" long.

A quality 4 bulb T5 fixture can support LPS and SPS just fine.

4 bulb fixture would work, buts its tought getting a good 4 bulb combo,, get a 6 bulb fixture and call it a day.

A 4 bulb ATI powermodule will be better and cheaper then a 6 bulb. The ATI has the best reflectors and 8% more par then any other t5 out. Just FYI.

Any quality T5HO fixture, with at least 4 quality bulbs, Individually Contoured Reflectors and good Advanced Electronic Ballasts, will do just fine over a 40 breeder, allowing you to grow anything you want. Sunlight Supply or ATI fixtures will both work well.

4 bulb would be fine for a 40 breeder and tek makes a decent fixture. I do agree a 6 would be better because the tank is wide but shallow. T-5 has narrow reflectors and direct the light pretty straight down so the wider the tank gets the more bulbs you need. With t-5 the width of a tank actually has more to do with the amount of bulbs needed for coverage purposes. With a 4 bulb fixture you will have some lower light areas in the front or back and you can put some corals there that prefer lower light. Do to how shallow a 40 breeder is you may want to actually raise the fixture a bit with lps because it is allot of light.
