I run a 48 inch Gieseman spectra with 2 blue reef brites. 2 250 watt radiums on blue wave ballast. 2 blue plus 2 purple plus. 120 gallon all sps display.

@jeremy could you take a pic of your light rail from the sides to see how it looks? How was mounting the reefbrites? Undercarriage looks awesome!

You tired of the halide vs led vs t-5 debate on which is best? want to see pics of those claims instead?

There are so many threads debating which is the best.. People claim leds are the best, other say halides are the best, some say t-5. They claim they have been having great results well show us the results of your Reef Aquarium lighting, back up what you are saying or it is just words. Prove it with pictures..

Post pics of your tanks and list the specs of the tank and lighting.. Dont show others tanks lets see your aquarium... Also make sure they have been running for a while not like: well I have had this fixture for a week... Na that dont cut it..
IE:
My tank is a 120 gallon with two 250 watt single ended iwasaki's with two 4' actinic vho supplementation in a Hamilton fixture..
My tank is a 75 gallon with a ati powermodule 6X54 with 2 coral + and 4 blue +

No more talk show the pics and let them speak for themselves.
this is a red sea max 650 with 10 ati t5 bulbs

I just straighten the stock reef Brite brackets and used the bolts on the spectra end plates. Lines right up.

Recently I added t5 back on my tank and within a week the lower half of my large sps corals started coloring up after turning white due to shadow affect t5s seem to cover better .

Who needs HQI or T5s. All grown from frags in the last 2 to 4 months under cheap Chinese LED units.

Could we see these cheap leds. I've never seen any led give such great coverage with virtually no shadowing. I find it hard to believe that photo is with leds only. But I have been wrong on many occasions.

your wish is my command. However believe what you will fact is many are getting the same results with Chinese 120/165w full spectrum LED units I believe you call them SBs in the US. BTW there is a US based SBs Facebook group with plenty more examples of growth and colour of SPS corals you might want to check out.

Thanks I will check out the FB group. I wasn't doubting the use of the Leds, but I was skeptical that they were the only light source. Looking again at the pics I realize they are two different tanks. If I had to guess I'd say pic 1 is definitely led only, but pic 2, I don't know I still wonder if there is some t5 t5 supplement over it.

Sounds like doubting to me, however let's move on.
Pic one is of my own tank using only 2x 125w Chinese Full Spectrum LED's. {ic 2 is of my friends TMC Signature 900 tank with exactly the same LED units installed as I have. I can assure you no other supplementing lights are used.

C'mon :D hahaha show full image of that tank this is not a LED light :D :

Tell you what I will do doubter lol. I will show you the pic of my tank with my LED son to prove you wrong if you will agree to donate $10 to a charity of my choice?

Haha so I'm not the only one with doubts. ( I'm just yankin your chain now). If you say its led only then I have no reason to doubt you. No body cares if someone does use t5 as well, so there is no reason to lie. Anything's possible, with that size of tank, and the rock scape. Having two of those units running, I can see that. Its all meant as compliments anyhow, thanks for sharing.

lol, I actually forgot what this thread was even about. Had to go back and get reacquainted
