T5 advice please

Hi all!
Looking for some advice on t5 fixture height. My tank is 60"×24"×24. It holds a 150gl. I currently have a 4 bulb t5 ho over it. I'm thinking of upgrading to an 8 bulb fixture and was wondering how high off the water surface I should hang the light.
My tank is a mixed reef of lps and sps. About equal amounts of both.

IMHO I would start at 8" to 10" off the top and adjust from there. Make sure you can adjust it. [emoji4]

Thanks! I really feel like I need more light.It's a cable hung unit so no problem with adjusting it.
