t5 and led

Hello i have 4 t5 lights running 2 being blue and 2 being white along side a led lgiht that runs 24/7 should i only use the 4 t5s or use the led lights aswell?

only have ur lights on for no longer than 8-10 hours a day, i recommend using 2 blues, 1 purple, and 1 white on t5s and use led as well

What sort of LEDs are they? Do you have a brand name and model number as well as a pic? Also, the size of the tank will have a huge impact on light intensity.
By the sounds of it they may be moonlights which can be run 24/7.
I would run t5s for about 8 hours a day as joeganja said.

We run both T5s & LEDs. I'd continue to use both fixtures. The T5s with enhance your growth rate and the LEDs will give you a nice pop. The T5s will also give you some bright colors. If you were to use LEDs alone the colors can appear to pop well but if you have ever moved a nice bright coral from a T5 or T5/LED combo under a LED only fixture, compare it side by side to the same coral under LED only, & you will know exactly what I'm talking about! It's the best color up you'll get.

We also run our T5s on a shorter cycle. Too much light isn't a good thing either!
