So I have a 450 Gal Saltwater Reef Tank and I use the T5 Fluorescent Lighting. My tank is a little brighter than I prefer and I would like to darken the shade of it a little bit.

4 Coral Plus

4 AquaBlue Special

I am wondering what I should put in when I take out 2 Aqaublue special? 2 Blue plus or 2 Actinic bulbs? What would be the prettiest and the best?

Personally, I don’t like blue. It washes out reds & yellow.

It it is brighter than you prefer, what’s the problem with removing 2 blue bulbs.
