T5 bulb combo suggestions

After pondering for a few weeks I've decided to sell my radion pro G3 and purchased the ATI sunpower 2' 8 bulb for my 30x30x24 cube. I always noticed how much better corals looked and grew under T5's compared to led's so I decided to make the change. I've never ran T5 fixtures over any of my reef tanks so I'd like to hear some combos. I want the florescent pop from blues and the natural T5 white crisp but not too much. I've decided to go with the 5 ATI Blue+, 2 ATI Coral+ & 1 ATI purple+. I'm going to pick my order up either tonight or tomorrow from TB Aquatics so I do have some time to change combos. I've heard the KZ new gen is a good combo bulb also so let me hear some thoughts!

I have 8 bulbs dimmable fixture using 5 blue +, 1 purple, 1 aquaspecial and 1 coral plus. Love it so far.

Im in the same boat as you lol. Still waiting for the fixture and deciding on bulbs. I will probably do something like
Blue +
Blue+
Fiji Purple
Blue +
6500k
Blue +
Super actinic
Blue+

Unfortunately I opted for the sunpower fixture but not the dimmable unit. What height should I start at in your opinion and how far to bring down each week until fully acclimated?

What's your tank dimensions?

I had mine up at 14" above the tank but I started at 35% and slowly increase up 5% bi-weekly.

Akida17th I'm at the same boat, currently running my Radion G3 Pro with incredible growth but too many shadows and my best friend where I buy my sps he have an ATI dimmable and men what a COLORS. So finally I pull the trigger and ordered a 36" 6 bulb dimmable and 2 36" reefbrites one XHO Royal blue and a regular blue. The bulb combi will be 4 blue+ one purple and one coral plus, additionally ordered one Aquablue special, true actinic and one more blue+.
Need your advice in my acclimation period and setting the timers please, good luck and happy reefing.

Hi, I did an impulse buy last night and got a dimmable 4 bulb t5 ATI 24 inch fixture. Some people keep telling me not to use the dimmable function as it will kill my bulbs prematurely. Have you noticed this on your bulbs? I want to use mine for at least 12 months. Thanks.
