I just purschased an 8x 54 watt t5 for my 90. The bulbs are 3 months old but im definitely going to change one, so i was wondering what i should do. the layout so far is: Aquablue special, Blue +, Uvl actinic white, Blue +, GE 6500 k, Blue +, UVL actinic white, Blue+.
Im going to change the GE 6500k. What should i get. i was thinking of a purple plus.

The purple+ is a good bulb. If it were me I would add another blue+ though and also replace the UVL actinic whites with the a purple+ and another aquablue special

Go with the fiji purple from KZ. Much more red spectrum with all that abundance of white and blue your other bulbs are producing. With an 8 bulb setup the purple plus color would just get lost in all your other white bulbs.

I agree go Fiji purple over purple plus.

I also would go blue + over actinic white.

Sorry for late reply, the link I was going to provide was already posted above. Significantly more red in the FP, but more orange from the p+.

I buy wherever I get the best deal or can hit free shipping with a place that doesn't surcharge to ship t5 bulbs.

Hi,

I would recommend the following;

ATI Blue+
KZ Fiji Purple
ATI Aqua Blue Special
ATI Blue+

This combination provides exponential growth, explosive colors and most importantly very pleasing to your eyes.

That's all and well and I agree that would be my first choice for an all ATI 4 bulb setup as well, but the OP is replacing one single bulb and needs a recommendation on what to buy for one bulb.
