First off, I am sure I am overthinking this, lol.
I have an eight bulb Sunpower running bulbs in this order front to back:
B+
B+
Act (Dusk/Dawn)
C+
P+
B+ (Dusk/Dawn)
B+
Act
I am 90% happy with this, but coming up on bulb replacement time and wouldn't mind a very slightly more blue look so I thought about swapping an actinic with another B+. Problem is I can't figure out the best order. I originally put an actinic right at the back because that bulb is basically over my overflow and the very back of the rockwork. I could just simply swap the forward actinic with a B+ and be done with it but then the front of the tank won't get much (or any) actinic spectrum. I considered moving the rear actinic to the dusk dawn spot and put a blue over the overflow but I am wondering if I will get a lot more algae growth in the overflow? I do notice the bulbs have about the same amount of green spectrum.
Thanks for any help.
