T5 Bulb recomendation

Okay so i bought a new 4 bulb fixture with 21 leds built in with it that are blue! so im wondering on bulbs what should it get! this is the configuration that i was thinking

FRONT
Blue+
Purple+
LED's
Coral+
Blue+
BACK

Would that be a good setup or do you think it would look too blue because the leds are blue too?

If it were me id lose the purple+ for another coral+

I think that's a good bulb combo..that's what i have in my led/t5 set sup

Yea too blue. The blue leds should get the color to pop so stick with the Aquablue specials and coral+ for better growth.

Im just not a fan of the purple+, coral+ and blue+, work really well together both for growth and aesthetics.

Depends on color you like. My previous 4 bulb t5 I ran 3 blue+ and 1 coral+ and loved the look. But since you got the blue led now hoping they do add to tank and not overpowered by t5 I would get 2blue+ 2 coral+

I just bought a 6 bulb t5 tek cause wasn't impressed with this radion so I am going to run 4 blue+ and 2 coral+ but I like bluer look

Actually the combo with the coral and purple will work really good but if the purple bulb is too pinkish for you switch it with a coral plus bulb. I would get at least 1 extra bulb to mess with and see which combo you like. But I wouldn't put a aqua blue in a 4 bulb fixture. Washes out colors.

Btw I run a 4 bulb with a blue reef brite on front and my combo

What T5 fixture is it? I don't know of any that come stock with true high-powered royal blue LEDs, if they were DIYed in, what kind are they and what current are they running? If they're stock, they're probably low-output 1w LEDs and really won't add hardly any blue, especially if you use any white bulbs. If you like a more blue look, then one Coral Plus and three Blue Plus looks good, but if you like a more whitish look then two Coral Plus and two Blue Plus. You can get a Purple Plus and swap in for a Coral Plus and see which you like better.

Ok, the LEDs they use in those are not bright and really won't add anything to what you'll have. Your plan is solid.

Ok good that's what I like to hear! I'm not going to buy the ati bulbs for a couple months I'm just gonna use the bulbs that come with it
