T5 bulb suggestions

Going to change bulbs in a T5 fixture looking for suggestions on what bulbs to use it’s on a 40 breeder with a mix of softies leathers toad stool ,zoas ect.. thanks

How many bulbs? Most people run 2 or 3 ATI blue plus bulbs and one coral plus or purple plus.

There are a lot of good options, but IMO - ATI Blue+ is pretty much the benchmark that everything else is compared to. Good coral grown with a cool blue/white color. Maybe mix in an actinic or Coral+ if you want a more specific look.

I run an aquatic life 4 bulb hybrid with 2 blue plus and 2 coral plus and and very happy with the look and growth of my corals.

i’m got a 8 bulb t5 light fixture i have some coral their are mostly zoan any suggestions i have a 60 gallon tank

I have an 8 bulb and am torn on bulb choices too.
I wanna run 4. Ramp up to 8. And back down to 4 and off.
I like the aquablue specials and lagoon blue bulbs. I also like my light more white than others. One thing to consider is the spectrum and are you hitting all the color spectrums.

Looks like about 1 foot off the tank? Or more? Im gonna shoot for the 8-10" mark and see what i get after i buy bulbs.

A 50/50 mix of b+ and c+ is what ive been running. Its pretty “white” but nice!
