I have a 75 gallon tank that I have converted to an anemone only tank.

I run a tek t5 8x54 w 2 channel non dimmable fixture.

I also just ordered a SB reef light actinic 48" bar for some added pop from the nems.

Nine months are up and I need to change the bulbs. I am looking for bulb recommendation that will provide best growth & color pop from the nems.

My favorite full daylight bulb is the KZ Gen-II. (worth every penny)
Has the sweetest full daylight color spectrum that I've ever seen and a par monster.
Gotta love the ATI-Blue Plus bulbs too.

Regards, GoVols

Best I've ever done with nems as far as quick growth and overall healthy look was under 10k halides back in the day. When I transitioned to the leds the colors popped like never before though. I've never run T5s before except for as a secondary light source on LEDs, so take this with a grain of salt, but I would say 3 daylight/10k like bulbs, 3 blue+, 1 actinic, 1 purple plus... or equivalent bulbs. Thats mainly based on my experience showing nems like lower kelvin light better, and seeing people who run the T5s only doing 1-2 daylight bulbs or sometimes even none.... and just adding a little bit more daylight to those numbers.

Here is what I am thinking:

Blue +
Coral +
Blue +
Purple +
Blue +
True Actinic
Blue +
Blue +

Any thoughts?
