T5 Bulbs question

I currently have ATI bulbs.

My LFS carries CoralLife bulbs. How are Coralife? Are they just as good as ATI?

If they will work just as well, which bulbs would be best to use?

IME the fixture is just as important as the bulbs. Put expensive bulbs on an average fixture and you'll get slightly above average lighting. I have no doubt the ATI bulbs have a better spectrum than the coralife, but that doesn't mean the coralife bulbs wouldn't work. I would personally go with ATI, color is better and I don't see the point in spending the money on an ATI fixture to put cheap bulbs in it, unless you don't have an ATI fixture. If you're just using ATI bulbs, the color spectrum will be better, but depends on the quality of the fixture you're using in regards to PAR.

Side note, i've grown SPS with an Aquatic Life 4 bulb fixture with stock bulbs so...

I have a Coralife fixture with ATI bulbs presently. I'll need to get new bulbs soon and looking at alternatives. price isn't really much of a difference.

Look at ATI or Giesemann bulbs. Better bulbs for the money than the coralife
