T5 buln configuration

Im getting an ATI 48" 8 bulb for my 90. what bulbs colors should i look at. I want the best config for growth and color

That's the problem I have no clue what to do this will be my first T5 light fixture.

If it were my tank I would probably do 5 blue+, 2 coral+ and a purple plus. This link is pretty helpful

I'm glad this post came up, right now I have an ocean blue a150 w/ 2xcoral plus and 2xactinic over a 20L. The problem my purples are lacking in some coral, mainly my tricolor. It is more of an iridescent blue. So would switching one of the above bulbs with a purple plus help?

There are so many threads about which T5 to use, IMO is mostly personal.
In most cases you'll get the bulb combo right the first time and will have to order so e different..
I've used ATI with good results but the results I'm getting from the Giesemann bulbs are amazing.

I will be using the Giesemann bulbs. Just want to get the best setup the first time.

Ok after looking this will be my combo to start with.
4- atinic blue
2- super purple
1- super atinic
1-aqua blue-coral
All Giesemann bulbs.
How dose that combo sound.

I am currently having an issue with one of my maxspects now that is why it look like it does.
It is a standard 48" 90 gallon. Will be stocking mostly softies and lps for now way venture into sps in the future.

Ok great.
The combo should be fine.
For more pop you can mix in an extra super actinic.
If you venture into SPS I suggest to get a tropic bulb as that will give you better growth.

Cool thanks for the info. What would you replace if I wanted to add the extra super atinic or the tropic?

I would replace a actinic blue, you have still 3 that's more blue than you need.
You can also drop the aqua blue for the azure blue.

Tropic only if you have SPS as you get a better daylight spectrum during the day.

Best place is at your LFS but online is great too, just the risk of shipping them.
There are plenty of sponsors on here that carry Giesemann bulbs, and I've had good luck with Premium Aquatics.
You can also call CoralVue and order them straight from them I believe but not 100% sure.
