T5 coral bulb fit these?

Which coral bulb or marine bulbs for coral growth etc would fit these light fixtures?

thinking of getting one and building a shield over it so it shines down..

Any 24 inch T5 bulb will fit. I always like ATI bulbs. Dependent on how many of these fixtures you'll have will determine which bulbs, but I think it's fair to say Blue Plus will be in there. HERE are examples from Marine Depot, to pick one vendor.

Yeah cause I'm gonna buy that then buy a coral bulb for it, do I just need one light for corals or multiple ?

Also to save me from making another thread if you know or anyone does.. O got a 29g tank with 2 clowns 2 chromish 1 peppermint shrimp 1 margarita snail and a sifting starfish, can I add anymore animals ?? Luke snails shrimps or hermit crabs?? I do wanna add a few hermits or crabs to the tank, not really fish I'm set on the fish i have ATM, but is it okay to add some hermitsband crabs?

By the way ibplan on keeping sps and carpet anemones

Just a suggestion...since you seem to be new to corals, why not start with some hardier soft corals? There are some really beautiful soft corals. I think it might help you gain some confidence before jumping in to sps corals. Sps can be fussy, expensive, and can go out in glory if conditions are not perfect. Maybe try some green star polyps, zoas, yellow polyps, or maybe even a frogspawn? Especially if you are going to be upgrading to a larger tank in the future. You seem enthusiastic, and I just want you to be successful in this great hobby.

Yeah man some easier corals is what I'd be going for for sure! Don't wanna buy a lion if I've only owned a cat hahah, any species names you'd recommend?; that I could look for, and also the lights forbthebeasier species?

I do have a very bright LED system but it probably wouldn't do for corals ? Even if they're easier corals ?

Familiar with mind maps/brainstorming technique? If so place your DT in the center and have all different necessities and ideas going around. These will change as you get further in.

Hermits would be ok and a good thing. More peppermints or a skunk cleaner shrimp or 2.

29g tall tank 45g filter, powerhead heater 20lbs live sand, 25lbs live rock stacked,

Ammonia levels seem to be staying at 0.25 and under, nitrites and nitrates all 0 now and have went up a little within the last few weeks but all down now, think I may be over feeding, used prime to detoxify the small ammonia levels, also my tanks pretty dang clean and clear lol

Also I never see fish waste, I mean I've seen them goto the bathroom so to speak but never see it again after that

BTW I feed them 3times a day today I gave them brine shrimp and they are half, tries to get some out but still floated in there and my big chromish ate the rest I think

Cut what you feed am and pm into 3 and feed like you are at 3x, technically still feeding 3 times just less.

Oh yeah for sure bud won't be adding corals for like 3-6mths from now just gathering all the info on care and lights for them, yes I added some orime tonight, gonna let it sit a few days then test water again, fish seem great tho happy

I usually feed am morning, when I turn lights on just pellets, then afternoon and again at night

Usually between 6-9am 2-5pm and again at around 7-9pm

I think ima do morning and night small amounts I feed thru a baster sometimes so everyone gets some including the starfish then every other day pellets for whoever gets it lol

I use a 20 gallon as 1 of my quarantine tanks. It will be setup long term with clowns and anemones.

My last anrmone went wandering and got caught in my filter feel bad for it, and also I think the Aiptasia I supposedly had wasn't, it was some sort of anemone because it also moved.. And it was fat like my long tentacle anemone I had, ppl said it was aiptasia but looking back I don't think so

This is down the road. In the process of recycling to add some fish in a month. I'll start that once my DT is 80% stocked. Quarintine can save a lot of headaches.
