Gotcha, any idea where to find proper replacements? Those are Power Compact fluorescent lights, and not T5 Lights. They plug into the fixture at one end with a four-contact connector. T5 bulbs are single and connect at both ends.
There are a few places you can find them. Live Rock N Reef has them at https://www.liverocknreef.com/catalog/power-compact-bulbs-286-1.html You can also get them on eBay and at Catalina Aquarium at https://catalinaaquarium.com/product-category/power-compacts/Gotcha, any idea where to find proper replacements?
Good to know, thank you! Couldn't pass them up for 20$! Need one for a 40b that's curing rock. There are a few places you can find them. Just be sure to get the right length and the right style of connector. There are two types: one with all four pins in a row, and one with the four pins arranged in a square.
No problem! Power Compacts are good lights too. They’re just not as available as they once were.Good to know, thank you! Couldn't pass them up for 20$! Need one for a 40b that's curing rock.

The product pages in the links I posted earlier should tell you the wattage, length, and color of the bulbs. You might be able to read the wattage off of the old bulbs in your fixtures too. You could also measure the lengths of the old bulbs and match that with the new ones on the websites. There’s only one wattage per length. How do I tell the wattage?
They're 65w bulbs, 3 linear and 2 square pin. What a pain to remove! Used some zip ties to mount one for now. My clownfish is now swimming around like never before! The product pages in the links I posted earlier should tell you the wattage, length, and color of the bulbs.
