I am looking to switch out my Chinese box leds for t5's, I am looking for advice on fixtures to purchase. I have seen ATI is highly recommended but they are a little out of my price range. I do plan on getting ATI bulbs regardless of the fixture I buy. I have a 50 gallon 36x18x18 mixed reef. Does anyone have any advice as to fixture options other than ATI. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to R2R! I figure as long as the ballast that comes with the fixture and the reflectors are both quality then it doesn't matter which fixture you buy. At that point it's all about the bulbs. Just my opinion on the matter of course.

DEF look at the ati scratch and dent and also used!
You can in fact use industrial t5 fixtures and replace the tubes as well.
