T5 Fixture Problem

I have a Nova Extreme 24" 4 bulb T5 fixture that starting having issues yesterday when I got home. I noticed that 2 of the lights we flickering on and off, kinda like a strobe effect. I reseated the bulbs which did not help and installed one at a time and it did not help. Does this sound like the ballast needs replacing? If so, where is the best place to get one?

If I can't fix it, I can have Rob come over and do some dance moves with the strobe lights...

Have you tried another bulb in the same slot? if it does the same thing I would say it is the ballast.

I had a ballast issue with my Nova extreme. I contacted the company and they said they do not warranty the ballast or sockets LOL not much left to warranty. They put me in touch with the ballast manufacturer and they were very helpful. They sent me out a new ballast free. Here is the email and name of the person I contacted. thanks - I just sent an email to Jim. Hopefully I will hear something back from him soon. I will also try changing to another bulb and see if that helps.

Work Horse Ballasts are a very good replacement for original T5 Ballasts.

I came home yesterday and it was working fine. I remembered earlier in the day where the power had quickly turned off and back on. Maybe that got something out of whack. I did get a response from Jim who provided several suggestions and said he would sell me the ballast for $20 plus shipping. I'm going to keep watching it and hopefully it was due to the power outage. Now to get that dancing Rob image out of my head....
