I'm considering changing from LED to T5. Right now I have 3 radions on my heavily stocked 180 gallon mixed reef.

1. will the ATI 6x80 be enough on a 72x24 tank?

2. What color bulb combo is best?

3. Will the corals react to the change?

4. will the temp of the tank change?

Thanks

It should give you enough coverage, if you can use a par meter to check the light. Id still acclimate by , slowly adding tubes, dimmer or screen.
Its quite likely the T5 has much higher par. Depending on the height of the fixture and led settings.
bulbs imo, dealers choice, how much blue do you believe in.

temp, yea depending on the height, canopy etc.

I understand. I wanted to adjust color at any time, which is why I went with the lights I have. Some lights I can see different problems better.

as far as combo goes, I like my corals to pop but I also want to enjoy the fish. Im thinking, front to back,

actinic
b+
actinic
coral
b+
b+

what u think?
