Was wondering if anyone could help me with proper lighting for my 135g aquarium. Its 70" long and 18" wide. I wanted to know if I should use a 61" t5 hybrid lighting system or could I get away with a 48". I'll be running Aquatic life t5 hybrid w/ 2 Radion xr30w gen4 pro LEDs. I know the 61" would be better but its double the cost of the 48". Thanks in advance!

So I'm no expert but logic tells me that the light will have a limited range/effect so as long as you're happy with the corals in the area where the light is most effective you'll be okay. It may be that you want corals that don't need as much light and you place those in the edges of your DT, I 'm assuming you'll place the lights in the center. Also the reflectors and their efficiency will have an effect on the light in you DT.
