I very much appreciated all the responses to my lighting question yesterday and after doing some research, I have a follow up question. For our 120 gallon, 4 ft. Long 25 inch deep (I was wrong and actually measured this time!) tank, we want to add some lighting to our two existing Kessil A 360 We lights.

The question is, do we completely replace the Kessils with a 6 or 8 light T5 system or keep the Kessils and do a hybrid fixture with 4 bulbs? Do you think that would be enough of a difference maker? Any thoughts? We want a nice reef with all types of corals eventually, if that helps.

I'd just add supplemental T5s to your existing Kessils. Get the best of both worlds...coverage of the T5s and shimmer effect and adjustability of the Kessils.

Color combinations will be more of a personal preference, but my friend has a 180g (6x2x2) and runs 3 A360 Kessils and 4 T5 bulbs (2 blue+ and 2 coral+). Colors look great.

I would def keep the kessils and run t5 off a hybrid. I currently have the reefbreeder photon v2 with the aquatic live t5 hybrid and it really brings my tank alive. I love the look that both lights can deliver at the same time I run 2 atinic blues, coral plus and purple plus

I have a t5 lit frag tank and ap700 with aquatic t5 fixture and I love the shimmer and coverage of the ledt5 hybrid, t5 seems to have a flatter look if that makes sense. I love the fact that t5 will light up a whole tank though. Also colors pop more with led it seems. I would choose led/t5 hybrid if I were you.
