What do people think about aquaticlife t5 combined with fluval marine and reef 3.0 anyone ever try this combo also I would use 2 fluval marine and reef in my combo would you be able to grow spa Thanks

Two or three of those in a t5 hybrid would be fine for LPS or softy’s but the are only 32w so probably not enough for most SPS

My brother in law uses them on a softy tank, his are 36” and I thought the box said 32w when we set up his tank.. may have been a older model. They don’t seem very bright at all and to much whites for me.

How about 2 current orbit marine pros combined with t5 aquaticlife

The fluval marine and reef 3.0 and the Orbit Marine Pro's are not really lights I would ever use for a SPS tank. I have tested them both over various tanks for club members and their par output was insufficient for use in a SPS tank. You would be better off just using t5 lighting really the LED's are not as effective as good t5 lights in this case.

What size is your tank. Which SPS? Depending on these answers, either might be OK. A shallower tank can support easier SPS with the 4x T5s alone... so you would not need the LEDs at all... especially if you mostly like the lower-light and easier stuff like MBP&S. If you wanted high light and more difficult acropora in a wider and deeper tank, then you probably need more powerful LEDs, or just go with a 6 or 8 bulb T5 if cost is an issue.

Anyone mod a Coralife biocube lighting hybrid?
