Did a lil bit of wiring.

And I know I'm dragging my feet on this. But that's because I can really do any final wiring until I get the fan kit and cut the opening for it. But I plan to power up the LEDs tomm and wire them in Saturday and have the fixture hung by Sunday.

Ok the craftsman meter is out. At the bottom at the leads it states 200mA max :(

Anyone got a meter I can borrow?

The craftsman one should work. You will be using the 10A Max with the red connected to that. Black connected to COM, then set the meter to Adc (Amps DC) and try that. You are testing amperage essentially.

Awesome I'll try that. Thanks.

Of course it is. The reason I can't read it with my craftsman meter is that is has blown Fuses. :/

I'm gonna have to create a spacer to raise the fans higher. They sit too low into the fixture.

Put the fuses into the meter and got a reading, finally! I can tune the drivers.

So needless to say the whites and blues are running beautifully! Tested the moonlights also and the 4 of them are super bright.
So I'll either do the pot mod or wire them all parallel. But I'm worried if I do wire them parallel they still be too bright. So I'll probably just do the pot mod.

The other bad news I won't have the fixture done Sunday. Have to wait for some wire grommets for the power cables. :(
They should be in Monday.

Drilled the holes for the power cords; dimming cable and potentiometer.

Taping up the holes on top since the fixture isn't gonna be cooled by convection any more.
