T5/LED Hybrid Lighting Schedule

I use my T5s as my primary light source with my LEDs primarily just adding blues. My T5s run the full lighting period which is about 8 hours. LEDs ramp up and down before and after.

led (4 x 90w) ramp up from 6am to 11am, t5ho (2x80w) switch on until 17h00, then led ramp down until 21h00.

Interesting. I do the opposite. I run my LEDs from 11-9:30pm and T5's turn on around 1-4:30pm.

What do you mean by this?

I have 4 t5 and 2 leds on timers. How do you have these timed out to turn on and off?

My LEDs turn on at 11am and gradually increase in intensity until they are at my set maximum, which is currently only about 25%. They stay this way until they shut back off at 9pm....again with a 1 hour ramp down. My T5s turn on at 12 noon and stay on until 8pm.

Got it

my led aren’t programmable at this point so just on and off. I have one side turn on at 10:30, the other led turns on 11:30 then the back t5 and the front t5’s turn on and stay on for 7 hours full

That works too....the ramping up and down is strictly for the viewer. Doesn't really do anything for the health of the tank anyways.
