Either is fine. The T5s are static, so I would just turn them on for the whole photo period and let them go to work.... then fill in with the Radions to get the output and color that you are wanting.
Some of this depends on what you are keeping. Personally, I think that the T5s will be a better source of light, but I only really keep acropora and clams, so I would run them longer. Others disagree. If you are running stuff that is not all that light demanding, then it probably will not really matter much.
You will likely love them and wish that you had done it sooner. Just go with your gut and pay attention to the coral. If you want a blue-only viewing period, then end the T5s sooner in the cycle I would try and get 6-8 hours a day, or more, with the T5s to fill in those shadows... 2 hours of T5s is not going to do much to fix whatever shadowing issues that you were seeing.
Do you have the diffusers on the Radions? If you are not at 100% and have room to turn them up, you might really like those too. ...even the DIY ones are supposed to be really good and there are all kinds of different ones that were made.
