This is my setup. 180 gallon with Reefbreeders photons 48 and 24 as the main lighting. With 3 80 watt t5's as the fill..

I must say thats pretty cool looking shot period...why dump the leds?guessing that was a pretty wide tank as well?I have since dumped all my led's and have Sunpowers on all my tanks.

Yeah, 6 foot tank.
I noticed a major growth increase when I added the t5's that my thought was, I wonder what it would be like with all t5 set up. I took a chance and added them and the growth and colors took off.
I enjoyed the combo look, but Im pleased with the choice I made and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I've been running 2 Radion Gen2 Pros for a couple years now and am actually adding T5s to the setup today. 
Heres the hood i had built to house everything. Gotta paint it today
I'm excited. Now i just need to decide which T5 Bulbs to run in it and the best way to acclimate the corals to the added light.
All suggestions welcome

Here's my current setup. Consist of 6x Arctic T247B and 8x 54w ATI T5 bulbs (Blue +, Coral + and Purple +)

I have an 8' tank (96x30x21), and I'm running 4-radion g3s and 6-80w t5 bulbs. I run the t5s to supplement the radions. I think down the road I will probably add a 5th radion. I just wanted to see if I could pull it off with 4. Once my SPS start getting much bigger, I will most likely add another radion. I'm running all ATI BLUE+ bulbs.
This is how I mounted everything. (I cleaned up the wires after I finished mounting the radions.

I did leave the t5s. Or do you mean why didn't I keep all t5s?
I never had all t5s. I had a DIY led/t5 setup before I added the radions. I just liked the radion controllability, and I thought maybe something was lacking in my DIY setup.

So you guys think i should
A.retro fit 2 bulbs from a current t5 fixture i have and run two t5 and two gen 2 radions
B.switch back over to the 4bulb 54w t5 tek fixture i have and maybe buy a led bar ro add to it (and sell the radions at this point i guess)
C.open to other ideas as well

Said you probably just end up replacing t5 with another radion i thought i may have misread

Oh I see. No I meant eventually add a 5th radion. I would never get rid of the t5s.

Very cool everyone! I have an open top tank with two Kessils over it. Want to add some T5s but hesitant to hang them with my current set up. I don't think I have room for 4 T5s so I think 2 is ideal. My dimensions are 36X18X24.
Any suggestions?

From what ive been told most any fixture with a parabolic reflector shoud be suffice. ...there are lot if fixtures as well as diy setups available
