T5 Lighting On A Nuvo 10

hey guys. I happen to have a Nuvo 10, and I am sick of leds. There are so many choices, and colors, and intensities, and schedules. It goes on and on and on. However whenever I go into a coral shop. The best shops I have ever visited use t5 lighting. I am thinking of purchasing a 24" 2 bulb fixture, and using that to light the nuvo 10. I keep softies,lps, and zoanthids. Do you guys think a 2 blue plus bulbs would work perfectly? perhaps 14 inches above the tank.

I would not pick two blues though.

beautiful. what bulb combo would you do for the nuvo 10 for zoas? Also what height do you hang yours above the nuvo 20. How many hours a day are they on? the reason I want t5 is because I just want to turn it on, and turn it off, and not worry about it. I just want to put any zoa in the tank, and it will grow.

I LOVE T5s but I love shimmer as well.

I LOVE T5s but I love shimmer as well.

So i buy a 24" 2 bulb t5. Use 1 blue plus and one coral plus. Hang it 14 inches from the water. 10 hours a day?

I would start with 8 hours and increase as corals such as Zoanthids acclimate and than increase photoperiod.
I try to keep it to 8-10 hours.
