hello whats every ones thought on T5 lighting for growing soft coral i have two t5 fixtures that was handed down to me from my dad there are 2 bulbs a peace i was going to try to use them for my 90 gallon soft coral reef tank are they sill good to use or is LED the new king?

T5 works great, just a little more expensive you use compared to led. If you have the fixtures then get you some good bulbs and you will be fine, ATI has a chart on what will work well with a 4 bulb system

thanks one had coral life daytime and Actinic Blue and the other light has wave point blue wave and tropical wave. should that be a good combo to start with the bulbs haven't been used very much,

Depending on how white the tropical is, it may be too much with the daylight bulb. 2 blue plus bulbs, an actinic and a white should be ok and not bleach your corals
