i would like to switch t5 on a tank build i am doing the tank is 4'7"x4'7"x2'4" please let me know what combo you think would be good i wanna get away from the mh lighting.thanks

Depending on how high the lights with be you could use a 8 bulb fixture. As far as bulb choice that would be more personal choice but you will want to use good bulbs like ati.

You may need two fixture to get good coverage. It will also depend on what corals you will keep.

I use two Sunlight Supply Tek5 fixtures, a 6 bulb and 4 bulb, over my 200DD with dimensions of 48"X36"X27"tall. I can grow anything, including high light demanding Acropora, on the sand bed. Obviously, my tank dimensions are different than yours but I'm sure a couple fixtures would be just fine.

I run 50/50
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue Special
