What t5 combo would work best to look similar to LED’s on a 4 bulb setup?
I really like the color pop led’s have but my led is just not powerful enough for corals. Is there any t5 combo that gives a similar pop?
Maybe if I use the led paired with the t5’s?

I have t5s right now as well. My corals do have great coloration and look good under my current combination. But, there really isn’t any substitution for LED’s and the way they can make your corals pop...maybe, consider adding some led stunner strips?

that’s what I’m doin. got 4 noopsyche k7s that hopefully will make things look a lil different

Dude get the t5 hybrid use a 4 bulb and slap some LEDs on it and enjoy both worlds
Is getting an actual hybrid fixture worth the money? I feel like it might be cheaper to just have a cheaper t5 fixture with an led strip and it would be just as good
Or is this thought process incorrect

Did they?

In the process of building a new canopy so I can suspend the fixture inside of it. Not a big fan of hanging it from the ceiling. But I have no doubt it’ll add a whole new level of lighting to my tank

So your using 48 inch t5’s?
No I don’t think so, I found a really good deal on a 24” 4 bulb and there’s only a small section of my tank that I want to keep high light corals. I want to leave other sections for low- moderate light corals

But if I find a good deal on a 4 bulb or 6 bulb 36” I would go with that
