T5 sitting on 25 lagoon too much??

Is a t5 sitting 6" above water line on a 25 lagoon too much

I have 8 T5's 4" off the surface of my 120 with no issues.
My 12" deep frag tank the 6 T5's are hung 10" off the surface with no issues.
