UV makes some decent bulbs, as well as wavepoint with some different spectrum combos.

I tried adding T5's to my tank and was very unhappy with the results. I couldn't get bulbs that complimented the led fixture the way I wanted. And they were too bright, to the point where the white t5 washed out the blue in the led fixture.

I added two 21ledusa strips to my Reef Breeders Photon V2. Not because I needed them, the Reef Breeders Photon V2 produce more than enough PAR. But I wanted a different look in the tank.

I got one white and blue mixed strip for the front of the tank and an all blue strip for the back of the tank. Both strips had 2 channel dimmers. I ran the front ones a bit more white than my Reef Breeder Photon V2 and obviously the strip in the back was more blue (all blue leds... duh). The look in the tank with it being bluer at the back wall and whiter at the front made the tank look like it was more than just 2 feet front to back. I liked the look.

I just sold that 120g system complete. Now I'm finishing off the 50g cube (I built) that was originally tied into the system. New sump, skimmer, return pump and other stuff first. But once that's done, I'll decide exactly what I want to do about adding to the light. It has a 16" Reef Breeder Photon V2 now and I only need to run it at 50% to get more than enough PAR (80% blues and 30% white and I get a PAR of 150+ at 20" deep). But rather than adding strips, I'm considering adding another Reef Breeders Photon V2+ (newer version) and just running the back one with more blue than the front one.

This was what it looked like before I sold off the 120g tank.
