The title should give an indication of what I'm thinking. I'm running an Ai Prime HD over a Waterbox Cube 20 that's 18 inches wide. Maybe I don't like my own money, but for some reason, I want to supplement that T5HO. The smallest true T5HO fixtures I've seen are 24in, which would mean it would stick out 3 inches on either side and if I hang it 8-12 inches above the tank... that's a lot of light spilling out.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I was thinking some sort of DIY reflector angled towards the tank might capture most of the light into the dimensions of the tank. I've also seen older threads discussing T8 (which I guess doesn't put out enough par to make it worthwhile for coral) and some older 12 and 16.5 inch fixtures by aquatic life, but I can't seem to find the actual fixture online anywhere.
