T5s and Aussie Acan Coloration

Im in the process of changing my lighting setup and am deciding on weather or not to go back to MH. Does anyone get good coloration with their aussies and other LPS corals with a T5 only setup? Or should I just go back to MH. If so, what bulb combination are you running? Pictures would be worth a thousand words. Also where do you place your aussies? On the sandbed or up high?

Here's a pic of my display running 1 XM 20K 250W MH and 1 dual-band 96W PC actinic. No Acans in the display, but things keep their color great and color up under the lights. It's a 46 gallon bowfront tank. Old picture taken during a cyano breakout. Have a better skimmer now and there's no more algae.
