I have a 20 and 30 gallon tank sitting around. Want to use one for a frag setup. Mostly softies and LPS. SPS is still out of my league. Given that the 20 gallon is to big, would 2 24inch t5 bulbs be enough to support coral?

Everything I have seen in regards to this seems to be for much larger tanks, and using 8 bulbs.

Softies and LPS, yes. 2 x ATI blue plus would give more par than you think.
Thanks, I was leaning towards blue plus and coral plus. Or true actinic and coral plus. But I do like the spectrum on the blue plus just looking at the graphs, so maybe I’ll do that.

I've got a lowboy 50 gallon fragtank with a 4 bulb (54w x 4) over mostly LPS and with all 4 going ( 2 x blue plus, coral plus, actinic) it was nearly 300 par on the bottom so too much for LPS (it's a shallow tank). I'm just running 1 blue plus and an actinic now and it's more about 75 par. Everything is happy with that.
