how did u get all that over your tank? custom hood? can u take a pic?Am using 2x250w 14K MH + 2xT5 (54w actinic and 54w blue+) + 63 w RB LED strip
Love this combo.
yea i have two reefbrite pendants with the LED XHO blue's on em running 250watt bulbs. great hood and antinics. they make dimmable metal halide ballasts now and dimmable led's to boot. great for acclimationI started with a jbj nano with 150 watt halide. Loved it! Then when I upgraded to a 57 gallon I tried the AI sol blues for almost a year. Hated them! I am now running an ATI t5 unit. Love it but I am now going back to halide for my new 93cube. I just had my reefbrite halide hybrid fixture delivered today. 250 halide with two reefbrite actinic 15" strips. I think I'm gonna like it!
I'm gonna buy two 400 watt ballasts when i upgrade. reefbrite also sells LED extensions for those hoods so you can double the LED strips or add t5's to it. pretty goodthats exactly what I'm trying to find for my new tank. geismann makes a good one i saw. any suggestions?

My tank is 24" deep I believe, the fixture I'm using is similar to Exonn's above. Just google Sunlight Supply Maristar and you should be able to see it.
Metal halides all the way!
:nerd:Ok I see my 75 is only 18" deep , well back to the drawing table.
