Hi,i have a question I have a 40gal reef tank and I was dealin is low to medg with a bad break out of green algae and hair algae so I was running two AI prime led pendant lights.I thought at first that they were to much for that size tank I even turned them down to50% still no change in tank condition.I tested the tank all was good but with some research I found out that the hair algae was consuming the phosphate in the tank so when I tested for p4 it was fine but in truth it was high.So I put a bag of phos-sorb in sump the tank and purchased 5 Mexican turban snails they ate a lot of the algae I also switched to t5s lights and only have them on for 5 hrs.the flow rate is low to med but the tank looks good my question should I put the led's back on or just leave the t5s on.i also just bought some new corals so that's why im asking.

thank you
eric

What new corals did you add? I would keep your t5 running due to their proven coral growing. If new additions start to lose color I would add back in the led but run them really low to start.
