He's eating like a champ. He's been in QT with coppersafe. A week ago I added three antibiotics. Today a 25% water change and more furan 2.

I treated finrot a few months back on my ywg using furan2, metronidazole and kanamycin

If another fish is nipping at the fins, it would look like fin rot.

Is the hawkfish still eating? On Monday, drop the copper down to zero ASAP and hopefully the antibiotics will have greater impact after that.

Nipping can lead to injury which can lead to infection. It also stresses the fish out and can cause them to stop eating, because they are essentially being bullied.

Well, the foxface is a fatty so, I can't imagine any issues there.

No clue, nothing else in the display that could be doing it; unless it's not a fish or invert...?

Probably a stupid question, but you did remove the carbon from the filter, right?

You may need to change antibiotics if it continues to deteriorate. Nitrofurizone, or penicillin.

You know if I didn't know better I'd say that looks like crab damage.

Pretty sure my kole took a little chunk of my rhomboid's tail today [emoji35]He chases it here and there, but the wrasse usually just moves out of the way and goes about his business. If it happens again I may be going fishing...
