Tail rot?

This butterfly has been in quarantine for 2 weeks. This big "Ich like" spot on the top of his tail has been on him for 8 days. He shows no signs of being affected by it and keeps eating well.

I had an Auriga butterfly that had the same thing and developed tail rot after a month and died. So right now I am treating this fish with Furan 2 but it makes no difference after 3 treatments. Am I on the right track? Please help.

The picture is blurry so its tough to seee but to me it looks like a case of Lymphocystis... Does it look like a small bits of cotton or cauliflower? Doa quick google search and see if its what you are seeing.

picture is a bit blury. But if bacterial
14 days max on an antibiotic. You can mix in kanoplex and neoplex to make it more broad spectrum. But use your original count of days on furan as the total treatment time.
After that they usually are losing too much nutrients for their immune system to catch up.

What are you feeding?
if not already i would start feeding shellfish of some kind, mussels, oysters, etc. high in protein and cystine an antioxidant. Would also add selcon or vita chem or other fish vitamin to other foods you are feeding. All will assist in the fish’s immune system producing the antibodies it needs t
