Tailspot Blenny and my Clownfish

Hey all. I have been watching my tank pretty closely since I got a tailspot blenny a few weeks ago. He was shy at first but now he likes to play, albeit when he can't see me.

Anyway he's a great algae eater. Super entertaining to watch eat. I had clownfish in there for a few months and once I added him they became best friends. It's so funny! One of my clownfish is constantly looking for food, and now the tailspot blenny picks algae off the glass and he cleans off whatever floats past the blenny. It's so curious that they watched how he eats and now they eat the same way too. They wouldn't have ever picked at glass algae before he showed up [emoji23]

Awesome, I just got mine a couple of days ago, and he's fun to o watch. He hung out with the clown the first day, bit not much lately. He also likes to beat up one of my hermits.

Tail Spot Blennies are awesome. Was the first fish I got. @Katrina71 has one that is friends with a clownfish too. It's neat when fish of different types interact. My Tail Spot Blenny likes to pal around with my Sapphire Damsel quite a bit, seems like they're friendly.

Tailspots are my favorite! My situation was opposite. My Tailspot learned to eat frozen from my clownfish. Don't be surprised to find your pair sleeping together. It's very cute!

My bicolour Blenny gets along pretty well with the clowns but now you have made me want a tailspot. We have already planned on a Midas for the next tank in the bedroom with some black frost clowns but looks like I’m already planning for the tank AFTER THAT!

You should see them kick a crab out of a barnacle. You'd laugh. Mine kicked a crab out and spit sand at him.

The most mine teamed up for was to attack a nassarius and the coral banded shrimp when they got too close to their territory

This is funny. I have a tailspot blenny and clown that went through QT together. Now they are best friends in my tank. I added a second clown a little while ago and both clowns are pairing up and the first clown (bigger female) chases the little guy. The blenny is right in the middle of it almost like a referee. The clowns are hosting in my hammer and the blenny perches right under the hammer too.
