I've not seen anything like that one. Definitely has potential! Good pick up IMO!

Thanks!

I really really like the eyes red/orange with stripes through them and an orange/green rim around the eyes!

Thanks! im getting ready to post some zoas for id 2..once they open

A chalice is named through owners. Unless you buy a chalice with a name, it doesn't have one. It may be similar to something else, but you can't call it by that name.

With that being said, nice score!

Thanks

and this was bought with no name, i just wanted to make sure before i called it something it didnt already have a name

Sweet Kelby ! i like it !! I got a nice colony today too. i havent even took a pic yet lol But oi will snap one and post in my Cube crazy thread :D

Thanks, im ready to see pics of the 2 you were talking about a few days ago

This is what I hate about the name game lol why have 20 of the same piece with 20 different names Ive seen identical pieces to the flamethrower and pink ******* recently and cant call them that because there not from the same owner. Im glad zoas and palys arent like this jeez a soprano is a soprano no matter who it comes from

Chalice names made sense back before Oz opened up and it was truly finding a needle in a haystack getting nice chalices. Tubb's Alien Eye and the Tyree / Monster Mash Watermelon's were really the top of the line stuff, and literally that's the only two named chalices I can remember from that time and I was a chalice lover back then when I got my MM.

Now so much nice stuff floods in theres bound to be a duplicate eventually. Or something so close it doesn't matter. To get something so unique now that only one or a few colonies of that type come in is a very rare now with chalices and acans alike. Look at zoas! As far as I'm concerned lineage doesnt matter anymore so neither do names unless it's to give common names to just the general color morph much like zoa naming has started to turn in to.

If it's a nice coral that you feel you got for a great price and you enjoy it, who cares about the name and all that. You have a beautiful coral in your tank, you win.

Yea i agree with what your saying

Also the good thing about this chalice is it easily feeds!!

I thought the same ^ when i first got it in

I named it Sea Tiger because it has orange eyes with stripes on them, a stripped rim ,and its a sea blue/green color
