I'm getting back in the hobby after being out of it for 25 years. Everything has changed so much from filtration and pumps. My question is I'm designing a tank the will divide a room so I don't want any cords or plumbing on either side of the tank. I'm looking to build a 150 gallon tank with strictly fish and some live rock. I don't want to deal with any invertebrates or anything like that. Can someone give me some ideas on what would be the best way for filtration and pumps? I basically want 3 sides of the tank with nothing on them. TIA I really appreciate your help.

Sounds like you want a reef ready tank with all of your equipment in the sump and a closed loop system for flow.

xxkenny, thank you for your response. Would you recommend drilling the tank or using a overflow on onside since the other side will be used for viewing? Would you be able to provide a list of equipment? I know that is asking a lot, but like I said I'm getting back into it and I'm totally lost now days. any links you can provide would be awesome.TIA
