Taking Name Suggestions for Chalk Basslet

I have a new baby Chalk Basslet in quarantine now...I can't get a photo yet but I believe it (can they be sexed visually?) is really going to be an eye-catcher. <3 If you need a reference, just google chalk basslet. This one's not real different.

Anyway, I want a really good name so I'm taking suggestions.

Anyone?

Sorry I don't have a name for you but I had to say that I love my chalk bass! I think its a very underrated fish in this hobby.

So say naming is bad luck, so I won't suggest any in case the worst happens and you picked my name. I don't want you angry at me later. I love my basslet too, very underrated.

Lol. I wouldn't be.
Almost all my fish have names.
I would wait to pick it until the fish is out of quarantine, anyway.

I've seen them a grand total of twice - once at MAX and the other time is when I ran into them at Deep Sea Creations, picking one for my birthday present.

I think part of the problem is that photos really don't do them justice.

I had a breeding pair a few years ago....the female will get larger than the male, but the male in full breeding dress is beautiful with an orange sheen across it's gills and head and also streaks of orange in it's fins....they are open water breeders usually close to the surface at dusk...As mentioned they are jumpers.....Also when they get larger, mine were 5" much bigger than what the books say they grow, they tend to spend most of the daylight hours in and under the rockwork only active during feeding where they will eat anything that they can fit in their large mouths..sorry I can't help with a name..

Thanks for the suggestions. I've actually settled on one. I realized last night that I'd been calling him "little one" when I talked to him. I know a word for exactly that, in Swahili. It's Toto.
