Taking pics w/ a nikon coolpix p80

Hey all,
I was wondering if there were any tips for me out there that would allow me to get better pics of my tank.
Any corals close to the tank I can get great shots.
Any further from the lense and full tank shots are always too blue in color no matter how much I play with the f-stop and shutter modes.
My current lighting is 250 wt, 20k radiums.

That is a common white balance problem with point and shoot cameras. None of the sensors expect the kind of lighting we have in our tanks. Try setting your white balance to shade or cloudy or whatever they call it.

With a camera that can shoot in RAW the color can be correct in post processing.

also, you can probably set a custom white balance just for your tank.

With the latest versions of Photoshop and Lightroom you can make the same adjustments on jpegs and tiffs that you make on raw files. The color temp slider isn't in degrees Kelvin- just warmer/cooler but it can really help you get the colors looking good.
